Icom Holding’s brand Telesupport, has been awarded approved supplier status on the Framework Agreement for Telecare Products by Buying Solutions, the national procurement partner for UK public services.

The framework agreement allows customers throughout the public sector to place orders with Icom under standard terms and conditions of the Buying Solutions agreements.

Kevin Godfrey, director of Telesupport, said of the news “we are delighted to have been awarded approved supplier status by Buying Solutions. This is a big step towards achieving our vision of improving living standards for thousands of people and of being a supporting partner within the Public Sector”.

We will provide support to 17 sites across the UK and Northern Europe. The contract includes service level agreements and specifies on-site response times from between 4 and 48 hours.

Icom have been awarded the contract to supply and install the new cabling and communications infrastructure at thedistribution centre for TJX Europe, in Germany.

Icom will supply and install the containment, power cabling and data cabling for voice, data and wireless connectivity at the distribution centre.

TJX are the world’s leading off-price retailer, and with significant expansion anticipated across Europe, they will need to have confidence that their infrastructure can support their current and future needs.
