Amy completed her NEBOSH General Certificate via Distance Learning, fitting study in around work during evenings and weekends. It took Amy approximately a year to complete, with 2 x 2 hour written exams which were taken at a venue in London – the first exam Amy had to study was The Law, Health and Safety Management at Work. This consisted of 5 units. The second exam focused on Workplace Hazards, and this consisted of 6 units to study. One final practical assessment of the workplace was done which examined risks and control measures for the workplace at Icom. Amy had two weeks to complete and submit this after sitting her second exam.
Amy received her certificate for completing the training and examination requirements for the Occupational Health and Safety course.
It’s always good to see hard work, dedication and commitment pay off. Congratulations Amy!
