Installing a new Hosted Telephony system for Letting International
The Client and their brief – Updating their telephony systems
Established in 1992, Lettings International Ltd is a property management company based in London. They manage 1,800 properties for private landlords and local authorities in East London. They asked Icom to remove their existing telephone system, a BCM system, and provide them with a modern solution. The client wanted to embrace a full IP-based system to work more efficiently.
Hosted telephony is a system that resides in the cloud. Calls are both made and received over an Internet connection.
The Icom approach
Icom analysed their current business requirements and decided to provide them with a Mitel Mi-Voice system. We also added peripheral services, including call recording, call reporting, collaboration conferencing and Bluetooth system phones with a desktop phone manager linked to their CRM software.
Visiting their new offices at different times, Icom completed the installation around other builders in the required timeframe. There were no issues during the changeover to the new cloud-based system.
The benefits of hosted telephony
Letting International has since been able to work in a smarter way, using their call recording option to train their staff. They have also increased their productivity. Other benefits include low-cost phone calls.
